    O.T. Can't Get Rid of Hamburger @ $2.10/pound

    I sell 1/2 beef on the rail for $3.55 per pound. If I have just hamburger for sale it is $4.50 per pound. They can buy any amount they want to. If I want to get rid of some Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp will take any amount I want to give them. I do not sell beef for less than the cost of production.

    Storing Round Bales Outside and Loss

    I store rounds with a bale on end and set the next on on top on its side. Top bale sheds water quite well. I leave space between the rows for the water to go to the ground. Loss depends on how much moisture while stacked. Bud

    Antque Farm Implements - Help Identify

    They are probably worth more to take them apart and keep the angle and flat iron for other repairs instead of buying new iron. My iron pile is growing for that same reason.

    If you adjusted the chute so the bale chain is close to the ground and make sure the chain is tight and the chain link that has the tooth on make sure the tooth is at a right angle to the chute.     Foam Marker - Anyone Still Use One

    I use a marker just like that one. I really like it and works great. I did some remodeling in the switches to make them more convenient for the operator. I use a lot less chemical with it. I bought mine from somebody who went with gps. $ 150.

    Take a grinder and make the guards sharp by grinding the edge of the guard. You will be amazed of how well it will cut.

    Cold here in MN who has moved to warm area.

    Moved from way northern Mt to central Mt. Water lines only 5 feet deep in Fairfield. This morning -30 without wind chill factor. Don't plan moving any time soon. That is what a furnace is for.

    Running Rake Backwards to Ted Hay

    I use a hay fluffer. I picks up the hay, with a picker like a baler, moves the hay to the right and sets it back on the dry ground. I really like it and you can move at a rapid pace as it is hydraulic driven to match your ground speed. Great to bale those windrows. Bud
