    I am redoing the headlights on my 40S. Should the headlights be painted gloss black or blitz black. Most of the new ones I see look like they are gloss black. Thanks for the help.

    Unstyled B - replace powerlift with flatback

    Yes, I have the PTO shaft as well. I think I have to drain the oil and remove the powerlift. Put in the new PTO shaft, put on the cover, assemble the bearing and packing flange, and refill with oil. Sound about right?

    So my dad and I have a 1936 B and we have a flatback to put on it. Right now it has the powerlift. What all do we need to do or what are the steps to swap out the cover? I know I need the gasket for the cover and the gasket for the bearing cap. Anything else besides gear oil?

    OT Dishwasher

    I had the same issue this fall. Cleaned it all out and switched to Finish Powerball tabs. An appliance repair place also recommended using citric acid in the dishwasher. Works for us... I guess different soaps work better than others depending on the water. Maybe call the local extension...
