1000 to 540 rpm PTO
I bought a 4560 john deere that's 1000 PTO only. I've a 8118 kuhn slinger that's 540. This spreader comes 540 or 1000 i assume that they are geared different, if so was wondering if i should change the PTO to a 1000 on the spreader and run the tractor slower or just use an adapter.- Jlollman

4240 Injector pump
I've got a 4240 and i installed a reman injector pump on it and no start now, lots of blue smoke. When i took off the old one i lined up the two lines on the pump but didn't know about the timing pin in the fly wheel. Ford 7700 Hydraulic Oil
Using neighbors 7700 ford tractor as trade off. A hydraulic hose went the other day, working fine. Can't find where to fill or check fluid level. Use to deer's all have dipsticks can't find one on the ford. Any help
