Ford 4000 Hydraulics down
1973 Ford 4000 SU 3 cylinder Independent PTO, Remote Hydraulics control valve. I have used it with a large flail mower and a backhoe. 73 Ford 4000 SU lower lift arm
The lower lift arm link RH side sitting in the seat. The ball end (not draw bar end) has busted open. This link has a removable ball on the tractor end and a cat II ball on the draw bar end. Having trouble finding a lift arm that Fits over the ball end. Anybody have a part # and good source... -

This is a late model 4000 diesel with the combined power steering reservoir/pump. Can't find anything in manual that says what the correct fluid level should be. There is a cap on top of the pump and I can see the filter? screen but no fluid visible. System works fine, was just doing some... -

I did disconnect the links but when I moved the shaft a 'washer' (thrust washer?) on the right side (facing rear of tractor) Fell down inside...so I've got to go get it which entails removing the top cover (right?). Can I get this done (reassemble the shaft) with out (according to the tech... -

Ford 4000 remote control valve backhoe
K....but I've got two female connectors on the 4000 and a male and a female on the backhoe how do I remedy that? When you say slow operation...how slow? I'm not digging stumps or anything just clearing the bridge of debris and a bit of trenching, picking up downed trees etc. -

What is the remote control valve on the 4000 currently set up to operate? How difficult would it be to set it up to operate a hoe? I have a JD 790, would that be easier to set up to operate the hoe ( I know the power beyond kit is obsolete)? Perhaps I should forgedaboudit (the hoe) cept I can... -
