    510 Drill tires

Looking for some 7.50-20 tires for my 510 grain drill. Local places say maybe 2-6 weeks, thats if they come into the distribution center on time. Found some on web at Simple Tire. Any one order through them and if so, howd it go? If someone has a couple used I may be interested as well! Thanks

WDS Equipment in American Falls idaho

I went to their website and understand why your asking. The list prices are way to good to be true. 4850 John Deere that is field ready with less than 10000 hrs for 14k? Should be 30k plus. If you want a JD 6400 with a loader, better jump quick! Im about 4 hrs from there and have never...

    What impact wrench to buy?

Ive been quite pleased with my Dewalt, the 3/8 still surprises me on what it will take apart. I also have the half inch which has impressed as well. It puts almost the same torque out as my old ingersoll rand 3/4 pneumatic. Wont quite do the semi lugs, but I have my 1in pneumatic for those.

    Online equipment auction?

Ive bought several items, some up to 1200 miles from home, on both Big Iron and Auctiontime and dont have any complaints with either. Ive bought random small items to fill out trailer loads as well. Online reaches many more prospective buyers. The key is a company that tries to maximize...

    7/8 drive snap-on

Hey fellas. I bought an old toolbox at auction that had a bunch of name brand sockets and such. They hadn't been stored well and showed lots of rust. I sorted them out and many are in decent shape. What I did find was a Snap-On 7/8 drive 1 5/8 socket. I can't find much info on these...

    AuctionTime.com thoughts

I've purchased quite a few items on Auctiontime this last year and haven't had a bad experience as of yet(knock on wood). I've done quite a few wires and they go to the auctioneers, not auctiontime, bank.

    Small baler questions

I do believe they still make the small chamber baler. It would have been a 5070 model number though it might be changed now. The 570 was a 14in chamber and kind of a small acreage "econo" model. The 575 was more of a "commercial" grade machine. The 580/5080 was the 16" chamber. They are all...

Masey Ferguson 57 Roll Over Plow

We ran a 3 18 MF 57 rollover for years without the gauge wheel on the plow, we set depth with the three point and used draft control to control it. The wheel isn't supposed to take the full weight of the plow at all times, mainly there to keep it from burying itself too deep. Take a...

John Deere 2510 reverse slips out of gear.

Most likely the transmission "top shaft" where the reverse synchro clutches are located. Very common problem. The teeth on the clutch hubs wear to the point they don't engage properly. Does it do it in both reverse positions? Not a technical repair but does require splitting tractor...

    3010 wide front

I'm aware, I've bought and sold via online sales. I hope to make it over to look at it before it closes. If tractor is okay, I'll put a single front under it and re-sell it, and put the wide front on my 2510, which I know is a good tractor. Just mainly curious if it would fit. Most are...

    3010 wide front

Is there any reason why the front end from a 3010 would not fit a 2510? 3010 is selling cheap on an online auction, and I've thought of buying it just for the front end if the rest of the tractor is no good. 3010 is only at $1250 with 8 hours to go. I assume its a diesel but not sure. I have...

    More shop press

Clear out here in eastern Oregon, about three years ago a couple guys pulled in with brand new diesel generator, pressure washer, air compressor and who knows what else with the story about coming from a show and wanting to empty their pickup load cheap. I think the brand name was Titan. Sent...

9.5 years out of a motorcraft battery

I bought a cheap Wal-Mart everstart battery in spring of 2003 and put it in my Ford TW-20. Sold the tractor in fall of 2016 and battery was still starting it then. Sometimes you get a good cheap battery, sometimes you get a bad expensive battery. Luck of the draw!

    Choose Your Tractor

I liked the Ford 7700 we had, but would probably go with the 4440 Deere.
