motor id question
It was running last year. I don't remember it smoking. My friend just got tired of the throttle control issue and replaced it with a small diesel engine. Thanks for all the replies.- 4c0k

Thanks for the replies and information. This motor was removed from a self propelled tree shaker. I was told it was a probably a 1950s model??, I have not been able to find any information on Halsey tree shakers to be able to date the machine. It is possible that the motor was a replacement of...- 4c0k

motor id question
I was given this engine by a friend. I know it is an allis chalmers but I don't know the exact model. It was removed from a Halsey tree shaker (early 50s model). I know it was running (unable to control throttle speed, carburetor issuees) when taken out of the shaker, and has been stored inside.- 4c0k
