    '43 H clutch

Thanks! Well, it doesn't disengauge untill its stretched/pushed all the way down. I had to remove the washer from the inside to that it would not hit the trans/housing and allow it to let go pressure so I could sit still or shift. You think this means splitting the tractor or is there an...

    '43 H clutch

I need to press the clutch all the way down and only after the lever at the bottomm of the adjusting rod strikes the trans/motor housing does the clutch disengauge and allow shifting and stops the tractor. No slipping at all and strong! I"d just like the clutch to release earlier and not need to...

After replacing most outter gaskets (no head gasket for all the others) I ran it for about 15 mins. Water was hot and ran well...

    non-matching front wheels/Farmall H

I have a 1943 H, in restoring it, I had to replace a rim that was bent. It was a 3-lug style. Bought it, painted and found out that the other one was a "wedge style". Great observation, I know...So, now one is wider that the other. Both are in good shape, rust removed and repainted. Anybody have...

    Plow Day In WI

Love to see the pics...maybe my 12 year old son can try his hand at a straigh line plough with the Farmall H I bound him for his birthday. It's all appart in my garage and slowly re-doing her. Not for show...it's a "driver" and must be able to play in the dirt! No crime in making her pretty...

Help, I stated with one gasket, now my motor is torn apart and the bolster loose, nearly off as couldn't get ratty belts off. Starting Tank for H w/heat shield

Dang! I'm betting you're right. Kerosene is way too spendy for play and it is being restored but as a driver, hay rid puller etc. It's had things removed (I think the tank and shield-shutters) as the radiator has had repair and since I just fought with taking that out, I can tell you I'd not...

Starting Tank for H w/heat shield

My 1943 H has a two-way valve from 17ga. tank and worn bolt holes in front of the tank. I think it was equipped with the 1gal starting tank and I also know that there was a heat shield that covered the exhaust man... Every boneyard in St Paul,MN area says not seen them nor have them. Anyone...
