    crankshaft gear

Styled. It's going to be years before I get around to restoring it. I have to much on my plate right now. I haven't really been looking for one, but I thought if I could find one for cheap.........I will probably have to have mine fixed when I get around to it.

Would you buy this JD w/ loader?

It still doesn't change my opinion. Just look at what a new 70 horse tractor will cost.

Would you buy this JD w/ loader?

That price is not that far off basis. It might be a little high but that's about what a 70 horse tractor is going for here in central IL. You didn't say if that was the best deal for green paint that you have found, but I would sure look around some more.

    crankshaft gear

Harold, B"s here in central Illinois are as common as spring rain. Check out Two Cylinder Plus Salvage, Conway Mo., 417-589-3337, (there on the web also). Those folks are great and they will ship to anywhere. Now my question for you. I HAVE AN AR, AND I CANNOT FIND PARTS FOR IT HERE! I need...

    1934 D on metal --Value??

I haven't seen one sell for almost ten years......Is it your intention to sell it? If thats the case I would try to contact a good auction company like Aumanns. They would be able to tell you what they have seen them go for.

    crankshaft gear

I can say that I have never heard of that happening. The majority of the problems that I have heard of are with the splines on the crank and the gears wearing out. I know of a salvage yard that would probably have what you are looking for if you are intrested.

tis the season for junk farm trucks part 3

I own my own house. 3000 sq. foot to be exact. I have made my money by rebuilding machinery for other farmers in the winter, and farming with my family, and working full-time. I started working on other peoples equipment with a friend of mine when we were 15 years old. My friend is a farmers...

tis the season for junk farm trucks part 3

I really don't care what everyone else thinks. Most of the people on here that want to argue don't have that much insite or thoughts to consider altenatives such as what you have done.

tis the season for junk farm trucks part 3

Let me translate your post for you. Basic English hugh? You should really check your spelling. I will admit, it did take me years to get that degree. 12 years to be exact. I decided to go over and play in the big sandbox called Iraq so that I could have enough money to finish my degree. I...

tis the season for junk farm trucks part 3

I understand this, I really do. The thing that gets me ------ off is that some guys think that they should be able to pull that truck out of the shed 1 day before they want to use it and it should be fine. I have one customer that thinks I should be able to produce 30 year old parts on the...

tis the season for junk farm trucks part 3

Why are so many people getting upset and nasty with these comments? I don"t usually reply to things on this site but I love to read the posts. If some of you narrow minded people were actually reading my post, it said it was MY OPINION. I loved the comments about I USED To FARM. For you guys...

tis the season for junk farm trucks part 2

Now that I have been away from work for a couple of hours I have calmed down a little. In response to the posted messages in the first part of this saga.......If you are traveling less that ten miles round trip with a truck, its not worth having a truck. I know this because when my dad and...

    Fuel Line(Where You Get It)

I would go directly to your local dealership and order the correct lines. You don't want to fool around with bending up your own lines when high pressure fuel lines are involved.
