    Got my Hart Parr Oliver Collector Magazine today. Hats off to John Schwiebert on his research on the Oliver 70 tech tips. This is a must have for anybody that is interested in this tractor.

    1942 h with new engine kit in it, and overhauled head.. also rebuilt carb from Bates but it wont run smooth and it puts out black smoke, its running rich, the float is set right any other ideas what it might be.i think i need another carb.

    my 1942 h has a starter and a 6 volt battery period. no generator no regulators nothing,the 6 volt battery with a jump start barely turns it over and the cables are big, i've been told to put a 12 volt battery in it, will this starter handle a 12 volt also. also is it true that this is origonal...
