    Allis IB

Am restoring the above tractor and need to know the size of tires and type they put on the front of it. As a matter of interest what was the market intended by Allis Chalmers for the IB? Its heavy wrap around frame indicates they had some ambitious plans for it.

    Allis IB

Just pulled into my shop a recent purchase, an IB. Strange thing. When I steer to the right it turns left! Is that characteristic of the IB or did someone put the pinion on thte wrong side of the gearbox?

    cockshutt 20 grill

I am restoring a Cockmshutt 20, and discovered my grill set does not have any wire mesh behind the horizontal bars. I am reluctant to spend $239 on a new set. Can anyone tell me a)how heavy the mesh is that they used and b), how did they attach it?

I am restoring a Cockshutt 20. When I got to the grill I noticed that there was no wire mesh behind the outer horizontal members. Short of spending $239 for a new grill set does anyone know, a)how heavy the mesh was that they used and b)how was the mesh attached?

I know little about Olivers but am interested, especially the 440. 1) Was it an offset? 2) How many were made? 3) Is the 44 a forerunner to the 440? 4) Are there ever any for sale?

    cockshutt 20.

Have purchased and are restoring a Cockshutt 20. How do the fenders mount to the rear housing? Mine has two angle irons, 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 24 inches long. There is a series of holes on the upper leg. Is that the way they came out? It works but looks rather crude. Please elaborate

    Cockshutt 20

Am restoring a 20 and am looking for a part that I bet no one has. It is the 3inch wide U shaped spring which supports the pan seat. Two legs, about 12 inches long, a rise of 9 inches. Is there actually someone out in ether land that has one?
