Just pulled into my shop a recent purchase, an IB. Strange thing. When I steer to the right it turns left! Is that characteristic of the IB or did someone put the pinion on thte wrong side of the gearbox?
 
It sounds like you have the steering parts of a C on your B. That will make them steer backwards. May be you can change the position of your steering arm? Dave.
