    2N smoking

    Im puzzled. Got the 2N running and it wasnt smoking. I drained the 25 year old oil then installed a new filter and 10W30 oil. Now it smokes. 35psi oil pressure. Any suggestions.

    2N 6 volt coil.

    Still no fire to plugs on my 2N. New points, condenser, plugs, plug wires and coil. Points have been dressed and properly set. Cranking engine with volt meter on coil post indicates no change in voltage when cranking. What are the odds of getting a bad coil from this website??

    IHC 1964 Model 140

    The 1964 model 140 has been setting for over 5 years. Was running fine when parked. We've got it running but it's missing on cylinders 3 and 4. Could head gasket between cylinders have blown?

    McCormick Farmall 140 s/n 26508 J

    I finished changing fluids in the 140 today. I'm a little puzzled. The hydraulic tank under gas tank was drained and held less than 4 quarts The transmission held about 13 quarts. I filled both with Hy-Tran. This is an early 1964 model before IHC switched to 12 volts.
