    JD 4420 rotary screen on a JD 4400

    I believe I have previously seen a rotary screen from a JD 4420 installed on a JD 4400. Are there any advantages by doing this? How much time, labor and cost would it amount to if someone intended to do something like this? My 4400 is a 1978 model. Any information is greatly appreciated.

    I have two 310 gas motors. One has a two piece head and seven mains and the other is a one piece head and four main. Which is the better engine to rebuild.
