    Oliver 550 shift issue

    Pulled the hydraulic section this morning and found out what the issue is. the previous owner didn't put the right side shift rail all the way forward and also the right(front) shift fork was broke at the place were it mounts to the rail. So I will be calling Kent in the morning. Dave

    Should the rails be able to be rotated back into place or do I need to pull the hydraulic section off to access it? Dave

    clutch

    You can do a Z-split were the top half of the center section and the bottom half go in opposite direction or you can fully split. I think the Z split is easier less stuff to take apart. Dave

    My tractor was a basket case when I got it. The previous owner got half way thru a clutch job and stopped. My friend has the clutch back in and the PTO back together. The tractor now starts at least. The next issue that we have found is the only gears that it will go into are 2-3 it wont go...

    Be careful with shipping containers. My sister backfilled there on top with about a foot of dirt and it bowed the roof. The containers are designed to stack but they dont have all the weight on the floor it goes to specific areas. Hard to explain. they are also having huge problem with...

    Sounds familiar to me. Until animal control step in the inlaws horses got 2 small scoop of oats and no hay each day for over 6 months. you could see bones.

    Cows starved to death

    I know have seen some hobby farmers do that to horses. Within 6 months of buying them the horses we down to skin and bones. Would sometimes go days without there 2 scoops of grain a day and never and I mean never had any hay and the pasture was barren. Dave
