    Allis B project

I would post this in the classifieds, but I'm afraid it would attract the scrappers, or someone else with nothing more than monetary gain in mind. 1939 Allis Chalmers B Tractor is mostly disassembled. I have, at this point invested a bit over $800 in new parts. They include new rear tires...

Nice farm for sale in Idaho

I'm not trying to sell anything here, but take a look at this farm for sale. This place is 90 miles west of me, right in front of the highest mountains in Idaho. Beautiful place. Nice price, too. Mackay farm

    Another auto opinion question

I've been looking at buying a 2015 Subaru Forester. Any good points, bad points to look at, or comments? The few folks I know swear by their Subarus, and other than cost of repairs when they need them, they seem to be solid cars. Anyone out there with personal experience?

What kind of Oliver implement is this?

<image src="http://forums.yesterdaystractors.com/photos/mvphoto20506.jpg"/> I was on a day trip through some rural country here in southeast Idaho the other day and spotted this rusty iron. I'm not sure what it is, but it made a great photo. Can someone tell me what kind of implement it is?

    Help with 310 clutch fork

A guy named Truckdog posted a question in tractor talk. He's looking for some info/photos of the clutch release fork/pivot and the other bolt that goes through it. Does anyone know what the extra bolt out toward the end of the fork does? I believe he has the G148 gas single plate setup...

    Old Abe look alike

I was driving down a back road this evening and here he is, sitting on a fence post right on the edge of the road. I was able to back up and get a couple shots off before he flew away. Pretty close to the Case eagle pose.

    Nice collection

I drove by this farm a short distance away from me, and this guy had all his tractors out on diaplay. I should have stopped, but just snapped a few pictures and kept going. See if you can spot one imposter in the bunch. The road grader is intruiging to me, Have any of you seen one like it? I...

    items on CL

These just came up today. I posted it on the JD forum, too. Some guy in Freedom, Wy has 7 pallets of JD A & M parts. Might be good for someone heavily into the green machines. John Deere A and M parts

    Morning farm pics

I headed out to the wildlife refuge a few days ago to shoot pretty much anything that moved. This didn't move, but I shot it anyway... One of the small farms on the way to the swamp.

    Idaho morning pic

I took this on the way to work this morning. The light contrast was impressive. Fresh snow and low clouds made a beautiful sight. Those are the Lemhi mountains in south central Idaho, about an hours drive from Idaho Falls where I live.

    Cold here...

This morning is the coldest I've seen in years. I took this at 10:15 this morning. It's up from the low of -25 an hour earlier. I hope my tractor starts a little later. I need to haul wood today.

    Re: Shelf in Garden?

This is all good advice for churning up the hard pan stuff, but when I look at the veggies I raise, it seems to me that the roots only go down so far anyway. Maybe 6 to 8" for most common garden crops. I always have a good garden if I till & fertilize good, but I've noticed, like these guys say...
