    Didn't the 24 T have an overunning clutch? I was under the impression that the 14 T did, but I left the farm, but for sporatic visits 50+ years ago?

    Cast wheels moving

    400 ft-lbs sounds excessive to me. It took me 205 to crack the flywheel bolts loose after 60 years on an A. If it walks on the axle it is loose. I always found the 18" box end that came with the tractor to be enough to tighten sufficiently.
