# 1 cylinder

Old, you know better than that!

A Johnny Popper fires the LH cylinder, then 180º of crankshaft rotation later, the RH cylinder fires.

Then, there is a delay of 540 crankshaft degrees before the LH cylinder fires again,and the sequence repeats. They are NOT an "even-fire" engine.

That is what gives 2-cylinder DEERES their unique exhaust sound.
 
Thats correct n is also the reason on the older single barrell carbs why at slow no load idle if you kill the left cylinder plug she will almost die yet if you kill the right cylinder it dont make near as much difference in how she runs.

Im sure Rich knows that, if He's like me the fingers n old brain dont always work at the same speed lol

What can I say if knew the 180 was in there some place and the 540 but didn't remember how to fill in the gaps. Sort of hard to see how one is working when your out there rakig hay with it LOL
