I am helping a friend work on his 10-18. We need the seal that goes around the inside of the hub where the drive gear is. Not sure if it was leather or what the material was. If someone could give me a line on getting this, I would appreciate it.

If its like the 15-27's or 18-32's they used felt seals around the axles and other shafts. Someone posted on another forum that Olson's gaskets will cut them to any dimension, so that might be an option.

This is inside a large "banjo" type housing that the main driven gear and I will call them planetary gears run. The seal that we need is the one that goes inside a groove that goes clear around the "banjo".

I wasn't as clear as I should have been in the original post. The outside rim of the bull gear is machined and the seal runs on this surface and is stuffed inside a groove in the housing.

I hope this helps.
