My 1008 JD rotary mower has sheared a shaft which drives the right side cutter. Once before I replaced a shaft which sheared where it entered the outer gear box. This time it sheared coming out of the main gear box. 1st problem is figuring out how to remove the shaft. Then comes the cost of the replacement shaft - that thing is higher than Holy Smoke!
