1010 john deere

Yesterday's Tractor Forums
I'm sure there are many places parting out 1010 crawlers, but I know for sure the place near me currently has over a dozer of them getting parted out. MacFaddens, Sharon Springs, NY. He's been buying 1010s like crazy recenlty, . . . why I'm not sure.

I know they have the parts. Whether they actually get back to you is another story. I only live 20 miles away. Most times when I call for a part, they either tell me they don't have it, or say they'll look and call me back. They NEVER call back. But, usually I just drive over and have always found the parts they said they didn't have. Paying for them is a different story. Many times the price was so rediculous, I left the part there and came home empty-handed.

Like I said, for some reason they've got the parts-yard loaded with 1010 crawlers right now. There has to be over a dozen.
 
That is a pretty area, I drive through Sharon Springs each quarter. I work in Little Falls, NY at the Little Falls Waste Water Plant. I drive back home through Sharon Springs on Rt 10. There is a guy along the way who sells all kinds of used industrial tools and such. I can't remember his name but he is open Thurs-Sat. Not cheap though. I also enjoy stopping in West Durham for a cold one. Nice to know you are out there
 
You must mean the guy at Plash Tools on Route 10?
He's got an awful lot of stuff, but not exactly "cheap."
