1020 gas starter

I am fixing this tractor for an older farmer. The starter is junk and I need to replace it. It has a delco 1108419 stater in it now. Is there a modern 2 bolt high torque starter I can use? He is on a budget

DB Electric sells brand new Chinese starters for just about all farm tractors. I've got several of the diesel starters - some I bought brand new for $90. I've got them in Deere tractors, Ford and GM diesel trucks, etc. I've had zero problems.

You might try giving a call but a gas starter might be more expensive than a diesel since there's not as much demand.

Gas starter doesn't work very hard though - the old Delco ought to be pretty easy to fix unless the armature is ruined.

1020 will take the same starter as a 350 crawler, 380 forklift, etc.
