1030 hydraulic issue

I have a 1030 that appears to have an issue with one remote on the hydraulics not wanting to hold, I am running a single acting cylinder on it, actually a pair on a hesston 1150 mower, I am using the right hand lever to run the lift function, if I go into the coupler that will raise the mower with the lever pull rearward it raises the mower but it will shortly drop, if I switch to the other coupler where I push forward to raise, it will raise and hold fine, I assume there is a seal in on the spool or a load check, I've not been into a comfort-king hydraulic valve so I am not sure, the parts break downs I have been able to find dont really show me what I am after, I would very much appreciate any help, A schematic and parts break down would be amazing as well. In your Control Valve are 2 Thermal Relief Valve Assemblies. 1 is leaking by. It is customary, once you decide to replace the 1, to go ahead and replace both. Replacing the Thermal Valve Assemblies can be done without having to remove the valve body. HOWEVER!!! Using a 1 way cylinder on your 1030 is damaging the hydraulic system, especially the pump, every time you move the lever to lower. When you go to lower, the pump is trying to force oil thru the coupler not being used, forcing the relief valve. Most every cylinder hooked up 1 way, usually has a plug you can remove so you can install a hose and make a 2 way cylinder out of it and save the system.

Thank you @John Saeli I'll be calling you for the parts, I recall you talking about them before now that you say it. I am working the bugs out of the machine before I get to the replumbing. The cylinders do have the other ports just gonna take some hoses to get it all done and of course they are stupid long hoses, I do understand about going over relief and thankfully it is only a second at most to drop so its not dead headed for any amount of time. I don't like the setup and I find it unreal that this windrower was made in the early 90's, its a hesston 1150 same as a CaseIH 8350 but the lift system is rather odd for sure. I plan to do redo it with the addition of a variable restrictor to control the lift rate on the right hand side, just takes money and until I know this thing is going to at least work to mow and crimp I'm not spending a lot on it, I may have a 12 foot wide boat anchor who knows, It did mow fairly well last night so I think after one more minor change I will be good to go chasing the hydraulic stuff!

I also cannot say how long that thermal relief has been out, I have nothing else that is that heavy to where it really shows up. I talked to you about the Pto shaft and have decided I am not going to rob the one out of the 730 donor, my plan is to maybe keep it functional just with a bit bigger engine to play some, I really haven't decided yet, but the work required to swap the shaft for on implement is way more than I want to do when all the rest work fine as is, I intend to shorten the outer part of the mower shaft tonight and that will relieve all the PTO issues.
