Is the HIGH PRICED muffler from CaseIH like the original black muffler? If not where can i get one? Thank's
Wayne

No, not only is the price high, the shape is wrong and the sound is terrible. The stanley ones are cheaper but just as bad

I have a Stanley muffler on mine with a two foot extension pipe welded to the top. I cleaned my muffler off when it was new and painted the whole thing black after I welded the two together. It works good sounds okay but I would like to have a Nelson on there someday. Too bad Nelson won't start making tractor mufflers again.

I have a low profile 430 with an under slung muffler under the footboard. The original Nelson got bent/broke somehow. Ran it awhile with no muffler. Finally got a replacement in a Stanley and there wasn't much difference in the noise level compared to no muffler at all. It was sure a quiet kitten with the Nelson.

Thank you to all who replied.I have a stanley, but noticed that Ande's 1030 and Case Nutty's 930 had the Nelson. Hard to believe but i guess they must be original. Thanks again! Wayne

Hello Wayne,
One other thing on 30 series muffler's, what I recall, is they came aluminum color, wired to the side of the engine, I still like them the color black thou.

Nobody has mentioned Thomure. Here is what I find. Tom
