1030 questions

Just taking a break from planting. Can anybody tell me the correct color scheme for 1030 front rims? Also, what is the correct tire size? Right now it has 9.5L-15"s on 8" wide rims. Thanks, Don

Don,
flambeau wheel with silver rim. There were many front tire options available from 7.50x15-16-18, through 11.00x16s. There were lots of rear tire options also, and most dealers tried to order a combination suitable for their area. We predominently ordered in 18.4x38s with 10.00x16s, on both 1031s and 32s however in 1970 we made a deal for a dozen 1030s that wern.t shipped overseas, and they had many diferent tire combos and axle, and fender options. We were able to sell them for 10K and made good money.

Don, I also have 15x8 rims and it looks nice with 11L-15 4 ribs on the front. Steers nice too.

Can you please enlighten me on the 103"1" (1031) and the 103"2" (1032). I remember dad talking about the 830 we had...I think being a 831.... I dont remember how they did the numbers on them. Thank you.

1031 was diesel general purpose and 1032 was diesel western. I believe there was also a 1033 industrial.

Have you put the "1030" to work yet?
Any more pics? I'm going to get my "1030" this weekend,going to drive it home.Will take some more pics of her.Think I have found most of the parts for her except 3pt blocks and 3rd arm,oh yes and the GP fenders,they had to cut on them too!

Hello Dan,

The front end is at the local machine shop getting all the slop out of it. I just got the front rims painted and ready to put new tires on. Then I need to put the new steering wheel on and it"ll be ready to take a few pictures and then go to work. That darn corn planting keeps getting in the way! Don
