Hey Guys, I was wondering if you could help me out. I am posting for a friend who is looking for a John Deere 105 hydrostat. He is in central Illinois. Was wondering if anyone knew of one forsale. I don't know much about 105's but didn't some of them also have a diesel engine in them? Were those the same as the 4020 diesel engine or were they a different engine?

Yes they were a 4020 engine both gas and diesel.Good luck finding one as most diesels have been scrapped for the 4020 engine.We have two 95's and would like to find a good 105 diesel as well or maybe a sharp gas then put a newer 404 diesel in it.
