1054 Super MTA

A Wallman

I am looking for information on selling my Dad's 1954 Super MTA. He has passed and we don't have anyone in the family that would like it. Where should we start looking to sell it and where do we start with pricing. I

its a long ways from original. a repaint and decals and power steering. dont class as original.

Agree with rustred. Neither does the air cleaner jar. Plus it looks like a beaver has been chewing on the hood where the muffler comes through. Plus those hoods are about 1/2" longer than a SM Hood so finding a perfect one is getting harder to find.

Does the TA work on it? Buyers will want to know. I suggest you get it running before trying to sell. It looks like it has set a while

Sorry I didn't answer your questions. I was just agreeing with rustred and pointing out things that weren't original.
SMTAs are still somewhat popular. I would suggest that you get it running so you know if the TA works, if the tranny is quiet or noisy, if the front end is loose, if the brakes work or not. If you sell it as is you will have a hard time getting close to what it is worth. Non running I would say $1000- $1500 if the rear tires match. Less if they don't. Craigs list is a place to start with a for sale ad.
