1070 flow control valve

I have a low pressure reading on my flow control valve on my 1070. Is this pressure from what the output of the hydraulic pump is???? Meanig I might have to replace the hydraulic pump.? Ihave put in shims which brought the pressure up to near the yellow but it's still not really good. This is on a standard transmission model of 1070 Case.

Where are you checking the pressure? Are you talking about the gage pressure on the dash? The flow divider pressure should be 190-210 and on a standard shift tractor supplies the working pressure for the PTO. That should be checked with an accurate master gage plumbed in where the little copper line is fastened to the brass ell on the top right corner of the flow divider right behind the tranny filter. The main working hydraulic pressure is checked at the remotes with a gage and a male hose quickcoupler. A clue to a worn pump would be a loss of speed and power on the remotes when the system is up to temperature compared to cold oil.
