I have been working on putting a 504 in a 1070 and today I mated the engine back up with the torque tube BUT when I got about 3 inches away it quit moving so I turned the engine over a little and it slid right together. So my question is , is there any way that the PTO/Hyd pump shaft would not be slid into the flywheel ? Thanks for any info

I put one in mine lift the turbo on it had to fabricate a air intake system took it to the county fair outpulled a ih1486 in farm stock
