1070 strottle problems fixed

Dad and I fixed our problems our 1070 was having with the linkage to the injector pump. The engine was running rough as though the Pump was "jumping" and not running smooth at all. The problem was the rigid linkage to the injector pump was moving with the cab when it would move, replaced the cab bushings and tightened the cab bolts and it still didn't fix it. So we put a throttle cable along with all the brackets off of a 2590, we had to do a little bit of improvising, but got it running smooth as silk now and it works better too. Thinking about doing it to the other 1070 if it gives us problems and maybe keep the seal on the side of the injector pump from going out like on the one we fixed.
Thought someone would like to know.

When you say seal do you mean the one around the throttle shaft. I have 4 leaking there and not sure where to get the new seal/o-ring. Any help would be great!

I talked to my injector pump guy here briefly about it back a few months ago and I think he said you could replace them, I think, or may have to replace the whole back piece on the injector pump itself.
I will give him a call and ask.
