I hear they have a problem with cab mounts sagging and binding some things. Also I suppose it could be a clutch and TA adjustment in need of being done. That is some thing that needs the Kentucky windage to allow for the wear in the linkage. I don't have any TA's no no need to worry about them. The 2 need to be adjusted in accordance with each other to work well.

Is it stuck in two gears and won't move, or you just can't change gears?

If it's stuck in two gears and won't move, remember it's an "H" pattern and not a "Z" when shifting.

It also probably needs the TA, Clutch and Tranny Brake adjusted.

I had to adjust mine about every 150 hours to keep it shifting nicely.

The High-Low-Reverse-Park linkages are known to become worn and sloppy after 45+ years. Some new parts can work wonders.

Make sure the cab mounts are not collapsed, and your clutch and dump valve are adjusted properly. The dump valve is that little plunger on the back of the MCV (behind the auxiliary fuel tank under the left side step). It's supposed to come out to release all hydraulic pressure in the TA, and when that happens the Transmisison Lubrication Pressure light will come on in the dash if all is working properly.
