1100 lost all hydraulics

I was snowblowing last year and suddenly the tractor started shaking then just died. I started it back up and it would not stop moving forward and i had the clutch in! I shut it down again put it in neutral then started it up again and eventualy was able to control the tractor again with the clutch but it lost all hydraulics, brakes,steering,seat,3-point, pto, remotes. I just had it split to put a new engine block in. I did about 65 acres of row crops and it seemed to run fine. I did notice a slight draw down in engine rpm occasionally. Any ideas what cuold be wrong. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like the PTO input shaft or crankshaft pto coupling may have broke in the bellhousing area. That would explain the shaking, difficulty getting the main clutch to work, and then the loss of all hydraulics. Just a guess though.

Thanks for the input. Hopefully it s that easy, could I have done something wrong putting the tractor back together that would cause this. If it s the pto shaft does that simply pull out.

I am not real familiar with the 1100 but it would sound like your clutch has disintegrated, sometimes when this happens a piece can fall between the plates and you can not free the plates until it falls out again, but by this stage the rest of the clutch has given up. on some single plate clutches there is a dummy PTO plate and sometimes these can break the rivets holding the disc to the centre boss. I think you should start in the clutch housing , Is there an inspection plate? Let us know what you find.

Yes, the pto shaft pulls out of the transmission. If that's what happened, you will have to replace both the shaft and crankshaft coupler.
