1105 injection pump

I am taking my injection pump to the re builder tomorrow will report the rebuild cost when completed I sure hope it is not as high as a previous post.
Injectors already done that cost #200 replaced 2 tips cleaned and checked.
This is an in frame overhaul and those sleeves were a job to get out of course it might have been my inexperience with pulling them.

When I worked for MF I used a hydraulic sleeve puller to pull a set of sleeves on an 1105 and it was a pain in the *** To put the new liners in was fairly easy though,packed in dry ice for a couple of hours and they slid right into place.Block was placed in the sun on a day when the temp was over 100 degrees.Cold sleeves+warm block= easy install!

I tore up 2 1-inch fine thread steel rods trying to pull them then I got out the welder and run it up each side of the sleeve that turned them loose to pull. puting them back in was easy.

GOOD SUGGESTION ON RUNNING BEADS UP THE LINERS WORKS EVERYTIME USUALLY FOUR RUNS FROM BOTTOM TO TOP WORK GREAT JUST BECAREFULL WHEN PULLING OUT SLEEVES IVE HEAR OF GUYS PUTTING THE LEGS OF THE PULLER RIGHT THRU THE DECK OF THE ENGINE! ALSO TO REINSTALL DRY ICE PLUS A LITTLE WATER IN THE WATER JACKET WITH THE AID OF THE BLOCK HEATER WORKS WELL WARM EXPANDED BLOCK + COLD SHRUNK LINERS = EASY JOB EVERY TIME!
