1130 turbo replacement question

Hi all, I have an 1130 with the Perkins T6.354 engine and 181777, 50807 Holset turbo. It's throwing oil out the muffler and I've tried the rebuild seal kit which helped but still throws oil. It's not coming from the engine exhaust and it's not blowback into the crankcase keeping the turbo from draining, checked all that. I think the turbo has enough slop in it that it works, just leaks oil.
I see to get a replacement is $$$$, more than I would like to pay.
Is there a way to use a different turbo or does that require a different manifold and such that wouldn't make it worth it?
We use the tractor around the property but not every day, that's why I would like to find a cheaper/ easier way to do this.
Is this even possible or do I just have to get the high dollar turbo? Any thoughts or info would help.
Thanks

The 1130 and EARLY 1135 used the Holset turbo. The LATE 1135 used a Garret/AirResearch turbo. Not sure if they would interchange, but might without too much work and worth looking into.

Thanks, I wonder if it was the same manifold or not. I'll try looking it up. You don't have any info on that do you?

I didn't know that, so thanks. I've researched all the specs and it seems it's the same engine and internal components on the 1135 Perkins as the 1130. I might have to get a different exhaust manifold and get the oil line adapters, but I don't see why this shouldn't work. I've ordered a turbo that is a replacement for the 1135 to start with and I'll see what changes I need to do from there. I'll post my findings here with whether it'll work or not. The turbo for the 1135 is $300, the 1130 is at least $1500 or more if you can find one.
