1175 engine swap question

I'm looking for an engine to put in my
1175 and I found a 504 out of a 2590
nearby. My question is will the cast iron
oil pan clear the larger oil pump on the
large journal engine? I'd like to stay
with the cast pan because I have a loader
on this machine and it seems like the cast
iron pan would be stronger. Any other
thoughts on this swap from people who have
done it in the past?

Thanks for the offer, I found an engine out of a 2290 to complete the swap.

No Do not use the cast iron pan on a 504. You will break the timing cover if you try to bolt it on.

My 1370 came with an iron pan from Racine... nothing broken yet.
