12 valve cummins

I have a 93 dodge truck with a 12v cummins. Just wondering how much to turn the pump to get 300 HP. Also how do I go about doing that?

All I can help you with is tell you there is a screw on the back of the injector pump you screw in. Now I aint sayin this is the right way, but its how we always done it here. We turned the screw one rotation at a time til we could tell we had more power. My memory is foggy but I think 3 to 4 turns is as far as we ever would go. If you go to far the inside of the pump will turn to far and blow the motor up. We also turned the interoid screw under the cap on the round thing on top of the pump almost all the way in. But then again this my not be the accurate way of doing it. This is how I used to do it. But if you wanted it to be on the dot I would take it to a good injector shop.

You'll probably have do do more than pump adjustments to get 300hp out of one of those ol buggers with the old rotary pump. I have two of those trucks, and they were only making 160hp at the flywheel in stock form, I don't think the ol rotary job will make that kind of power.
