I want to convert my 841 power master tractor to 12 volt. I need a kit as the PO took off the brackets. I have a coil, but would like to purchase a kit. Cheap as I can find. I know that cheap is not better some times , but money is tight right now to be spending on tractor. Thanks for any help with this project.

They sell the complete kit less coil on this website for under $100.

Expect to pay $200-$300 for a 12V conversion. Kits vary on contents. If you don't have a 12V battery, Type 25 or 35, a belt tension bracket for the alternator, a new fan belt to fit the alternator pulley, and a new wiring harness, figure on adding that to your total sum. I would buy your old OEM generator, voltage regulator, and coil - my email is open.

generator, voltage regulator, and coil was not on the tractor when I bought it. Even the Generator brackets were missing. Left the bolts.LOL

If you can do even minimal fabrication
the brackets are simple to make.
A 35 amp 10-SI alternator is about $50
at Napa, etc.
Add a battery, coil and a few scraps of
wire and you're into it pretty cheaply.
