Remove the Generator and regulator. Reverse all the connections on the amp gauge (left to right) Put a Delco 10SI alternator in it on the left side using some spacers and a modified top adjuster bracket. Wire the edge spade terminals as follows. The spade marked 2 has a short 6 inch12 gauge wire connected directly to the output threaded stud. The output stud connects to the amp gauge through a new 10 gauge wire (replacing the one that went to the regulator BAT connection from the gauge). Put a 12 gauge wire on the 1 Marked spade and put a 10 ohm resistor, or a filament type bulb from a side marker light in that circuit so it becomes an idiot light replacement. Voltage will pass through it (series circuit). The wire from the resistor or bulb connects to the coil input side. Be sure the coil you choose is for 12v operation without a ballast resistor. Change the bulbs to 12v. Connect the battery negative ground. Jim
