I'm back to trying to find a miss on my 1206 . my questions are has anybody ever had a miss caused by something on a injection line . and how can you tell if they are free besides blowing air through them

Had a Deere 4000D with a miss once. Old time shop foreman at local dealership says start it up. After a minute shut it off. He had on light cotton gloves and felt each exhaust port on manifold. Found a cold one. New injector. It was harvest and everybody out on calls. Phone rings and said got to go out on combine call. When it happens again we will just replace them all. Still running on second set and now tach reads 10K+ hours. Just loader work now.

English is a crazy language. First time I read, I thought how did he pick up the shop and toss it. This is the first time I have seen misuse of threw and through. Good one! Usually it's to, too, and two.

Sorry, didn't mean to flame you. I make these mistakes all the time - English is a crazy language. But sometimes you come to a jarring halt when reading and trying to figure things out.

Well since your first post i have thought about it a few times . So here is a question for you , are all your banjo bolts all the same ???? , did you for get to install one of the sealing washers???? Did you check the cam as to lobe ware ?? Was the injection pump run on a test stand and checked for fuel delivery to each injector at ideal , mid range and WOT ???? , were the injectors just crack tested for breaking or were they also run and C C's checked ???? Yea that is a Pain in the drain to do and guess it is and old timers thing . Only know one guy that will dig that deep . I tried to look up what the difference is between a 806- 856 -1206- 12-56 and a 1456injector lines to see if they were different but for some reason i could not get into the Case I H parts web site on the couple times i tried and to be honest i never went back and tried again .
