I have a 1270 that I am finally getting to work on again after he year or so the steering is hard and squeals I have checked the pressure and Flow and the pump is about 9 gallons at 2000 PSI I currently have the brake valve out I'm am guessing the problem is in there any direction would be greatly appreciated thanks

Did you check the steering pressure on a line at the cylinder? Squealing at the valve USUALLY indicates relief valve action. By testing the pressure you will know which direction to go as far as shimming. BTW, thank you for doing a flow test during your diagnosis and posting the results

I checked the flow and pressure be between
the steering pump and valve. I did find the
seat in the pressure regulator valve on the
side of the steering valve looks to be a
little rough. I am currently trying to find
one through the local dealer. I did forget
to mention it also squeals when fully
applying the brakes
