1270 tach drive

They are pressed in. You need to make a puller that fits and pull it out. The gear on the bottom that engages with the camshaft is most likely stripped.

The threads are 3/4" x 20 t.p.i., I think someone on here said there is a hydraulic fitting size that matches that. Could use one to build a puller.

You need a case thread. I used a male case coupler with female thread, gutted it put a bolt up thru it (3/8 I think) had a flat plate with a hole used something round big enough to sit on the machined area around the drive and large enough for the assembly to pull through it. Oh and you need length also. I should'a took a picture of it.
Of course when I was done with it all the pieces went back to their respective resting places.

I can build you a puller with the correct thread if you cant find one locally, it is a very oddball thread count and kind of hard to find.
let me know if need, email is open

Thanks for the replies.I will see what I can rig up.Also the parts doesn't seem to show a breakdown and the whole unit is no longer available. Any ideas ?
