I'd like to sell a pair of 15.5 X 38 tires on Double bevel 14" rims to a guy with a JD2510. Will these work
for a 2510?
thanks in advance,
Doug

I agree. I have a rim off a 3010 and one off an IH on one of my Olivers. The only difference would be if it was off a letter series Deere. They had a deeper dish in the center. As long as yours aren't off a G or something, they should work.

What were your rims on? There are at least 2 types of 14'x38" double bevel rims.

38" rims with one "step up" from the tire bead area to the lock bevels fits 38" centers. They should measure about 35" daimeter across on top of the bevel rings.

Two "steps up" to the lock bevels from the tire bead area are 38" conversion rims (aka Mannheim rims), fit 36" centers and measure about 33" diameter across on the top of the bevel rings.

It looks like the 2510 uses 38" centers.

He didn't say anything about step up rims
If you read the post it said double bevel that narrows it down to One choice

I put it out there as some step-up (conversion, Mannheim) rims have the same double bevel rings as the ones without the step-up and I have known of people being bit by just buying a double bevel rim. Some manufacturers and vendors include double or single bevel in the descriptions of the conversion rims. I was lucky enough to get a new Titan step up rim for my 2030 (2030s and a number of others, not just the letter series, use conversion rims) because the guy bought it as a double bevel rim to use on his IH. Then when a tire shop ordered another step-up rim for me, they ended up with a straight double bevel as the supplier didn't pay attention to the fact that the order was for a double bevel conversion rim. I just figured it was worth mentioning as something to confirm and possibly avoid an issue for someone, since there was no indication of what the rims in question were coming from.

I had a John Deere 4430 with 34" rims, I did buy step up rims for it. That is the only set I have seen around here.
