140 Farmall

My Grandfather and I have a 140 Farmall I need to order some parts for it. But I can't read the serial number to find out what year model the tractor is. If any one has suggestion on how I can figure out what year it is it would be gratefully appreciated.

the parts may not be year spsific, if you look most things (if not all) are the same. Unless you need engine parts, i think you would be fine, but im no 140 expert
