1440 vs. 715

Okay guys I need your honest opinion. I have an old 715 hydro with the 310 german motor and 13ft 810 head. I picked up a bunch of ground for this planting season and its gonna need to be in tip top shape come this fall but it does need a decent amount of work. Question is I found a pretty good deal on a 1440 with 15ft 820 head. It needs a little TLC but nothing major at all. Should I go for it or save my money for another year and look for a 1460?

First thing your 715 is small,go for a bigger combine,A 1440 or 1460is quite old so values will be the same.Buy the newist or the best shaoe you can afford.Are you on narrow rows already then the bigger head will be a plus. Good Luck!
