145 Plow

Thanks for the response to my earlier post. I bought this plow yesterday for $600.00.

Looks like a nice setup! Like the truck too. My grandpa had a 3/4 ton pickup in the same color...I think it was a 78' model.

Looks like a F145H. Congratulations! I would strongly suggest you get a manual for it if you didn't get one with it. It will help you set it up properly. Check ebay. Paul

Thanks, Paul. How do you tell if it's an A or H?

IIRC H model has hyd landing on hitch that is utilized to change hitch hydraulically for different wheel tread setting

Tyler told me this - The quickest way to tell is to look at how the bottoms are bolted. The H is older and the bottoms are held on with 4 bolts under the main beam. The A is newer and the bottoms are held on with 3 bolts under the main beam. I'm sure there are other differences, but that is the quickest and most obvious.
