1466 hydraulic issue.

I have a 1466 with a hydraulic problem. The remotes will not work with the 3 point all the way down. If you pick the 3 point up, lever 1 from the bottom of slot the remotes work just fine. Could this problem be in the unloader valve? Thank you

You're shoving the position lever on the 3pt too far down.

There's a step in the slot where the 3pt is fully lowered. Past that is the response/action control which does not lower your 3pt any further.

I don't know what the purpose of that section is, but what I do know is if you shove the lever into that area, your remotes stop working.

The purpose of that lower portion on the quadrant is to control the speed the hitch reacts to a change in draft when using draft control like plowing with a semi mounted plow.

It merely dumps some of the flow from pump . It is all explained in operators manual.
