148 cid engine=how much HP

If the motor is a 148 cid engine in a case tractor. How much is the horse power??

This engine is in Case 430 and 440 tractors. The tractors are rated at 33 Hp gasoline powered. I have a Case 440 Utility with a loader. It works good.

Isn't the 148 also in the VA? That tractor model supposedly only has 17hp at the pto.

Mike's right....about 30. Found in the 300 & 430 models.

My NEB. test list says the tractor is 30HP. So HP wise its smaller then that JD-A you had by about 10HP

Trouble I never get into that. Plus since going to have that surgery done yesterday I'm sort of taking it easy for a few days Also since we have snow on the ground I'll stay in the house and play on the computer and watch TV till its core time
