148 loader

Looking to put a 148 JD loader on a 2955 Loader is supposed to have brackets for mounting on a 2955 that I am looking at . How much trouble is it going to be to mount a joystick control in the cab? Loader does not have the joystick control with it now just plugs into rear remotesas of now . whats is opinion of the 148 loader? pros and con

148s were good loaders.They arent Quicktach although they mount easily .There are kits to make bucket quicktach.JD also has kit for independent valve or there are aftermarket valves that can be plumbed into side.Tim S. and B&D are both good on how to do it right

I used a 148 loader for many years very happy with it. Just traded tractors is only reason I do not have it anymore.
It was on a 2940 tractor.

The joy stick is easy to mount and you will need a place in the floor for the 2 cables to go out to control box..(make a hole)
