1486.Pull 12 row planter?

Looking to buy a 12 row no till planter with splitters. 12/23. Been pulling a 8/15 no till with my old 1486. Anyone ever try to pull a 12 row no till with a 1486. Have a bigger tractor but always have it hooked to a disc in the spring. My 1486 has been my planting tractor. Pulling all 15 rows is already a good load on it but still handles it.

Have pulled 12 row no till with 4020, that will be no problem.

It should. We are looking to pull a 16 row 30 inch next spring with a 1466 white front fold. I just hope the hydrualics will work it. Pressure might be the issue for us.

my neighbor has a custom built 19 row, 10 row up front with a 9 row splitter. its a jd 7000 and a jd 7100 no till set up. he pulls it with a 4020. pretty heavy rig, but the 4020 handles it fine. considering he has a little under 100 hp on the 4020, your 1486 is around 160 hp, i dont see much of a problem.
