Just bought a 14t baler to use as back up baler, broke a knotter frame on my 275 nh and borrowed a buddys 24t to finish up. Can't find a used knotter frame so I found 14t on craigs list. The baler had been setting in barn for 20 years, a little dusty and one flat tire but paint still looks good and rolled it over by hand and it tied. Tool box has shear pins and owner manual nuts and bolts grease gun and some wire in it, like the old guy left it years ago.I'm gonna oil and grease it up and cross my fingers if it stays good weather cut and bale a few more acres and see how it does. My buddy says the 14t will be a lot slower than the 275 nh what do you guys think ? Any other things I should check or do to the 14t before I start baling with it? I've baled with nh 275 and don't know anything about John deer except the parts seem to be a little $$$$$$. Advice you guys have given me has saved a lot of time and money.
Thanks Joe
