150 massey info

I'm looking at a 150 massey with a loader,are they a good tractor ? Are the front axles tough enough for a loader? I bale hay with my ford 3000 and thought about putting a loader on it but it doesn't have the industrial front axle. What would be a good price for it? Thanks for the info Joe c

They are OK with a light duty loader....and power steering. Good tractor though. ben

My brother has a 1965 150 (diesel) that he bought used in 1975, very good, very reliable tractor. A with a loader it would be better with a auxiliary hydraulic pump with at least 12gpm, just remember it's not as heavy duty as a industrial in the front, (the 150 is kind of a "over grown" 135).
